Anyone else who is playing this little jewel? It's on Steam for 10 Euros, it's a bit hard to get started with but with a good page (the Terraria Wiki) you can get all the info you need.
It's basically a dig and build game (a la Minecraft) but then in 2D and imho better looking. Not to mention you can have NPCs that fill your house, craft stuff and the world is very big (even on the small setting). Plus there's a lot to dig, explore and blow up. So far I've clocked about 30 hours on the game and haven't even finished a small world yet
If anyone's playing it, I'm very keen to try it in multiplayer. I can be found on Steam via my account name Machior.

*utters some dark and evil sounding chants*
Arise, thread! Arise from oblivion and awaken!
*dusts off his robes and puts away his staff*
There, this thread has now been officially necroed.
The reason for this necro is the new Terraria 1.1 update. It has added a lot of features and fun stuff. The most prominent of these has to be the hard mode which unlocks new ores, new bosses and lots of other stuff.
Now, the thing is these new bosses... they are apparently quite hard. They have an average of 80k HP each, and might take a small group to kill. So I was wondering if we could get a team together on Terraria to take on these new bosses (do note that you will need the high end armor/weapons).

Re: Terraria
We'll have to set something up then
Unless there's more takers?
I'm probably around this evening.

Re: Terraria
I am afraid of what this game will be able to do to me. Thus, I have not touched it.

Must resist.... No its true its a laugh.
Especially when you fill your friends house with lava.
Or build a giant effigy of his head... and fill it with lava.
Or burrow under his fortress write his name in stone... and fill it with lava. Even if his name is not Susan.

Re: Terraria
I don't have time to get swallowed up by another game right now. I have planned ahead for SWTOR; I can deal with that. Meanwhile, plenty of work is there to be done.
Writing a heavily physics-based multiplayer game that's extremely moddable is challenging, you know! xD
