So a bit of an update for anyone interested. Anyone can get the demo right now but the multiplayer section is locked until the 17th unless you have BF3, singleplayer can still be played.
The multiplayer (at least on PC) use Origins friends list to invite players to a match.
Feel free to add me as a friend on origin, my origin name is Leonick.

Hello Again,
Wow I liked the SP demo can't wait to get my Shepard in that fight. minor grumbles, No long hair for Femshep??? (Ashley and Miranda have long hair) and no Hot keys for your weapons, so console controller seems tobe what they prefer people to use, but I will stick with my Mouse/Keyboard. By Hot Keys I mean I can't use F1-F5 like you could in ME. ME2/ME3 console controller appears preferred. uh time to stop Whining.

Just played trough the SP part of the demo myself. Wow, just wow! That was awesome!
They've really improved things for it to be at the best.
Graphics have been touched up, love it, specially the improved textures.
The abilities and the points put in to them has become better.
Dialogues are even more cinematic and fluid, basically interactive cutscenes.
Combat seem to be generally smoother with improvements to the cover system and more weapons, also seems you can carry more weapons with you unless that's just a demo feature.

The graphics was really awesome, but I almost did not recognised Ashley. Only my eyes see it that way, or she really gained some weight?

Wouldn't say she's gained weight, though I can say that I didn't recognize her at first.

I thought it was Miranda Lawson when I saw her at first, and why can't femshep get long hair like that
