Les talk about Beta please, it's not big and it's not clever. (Unless I get an invite, and then it's fine)

I will be playing it too. Enjoyed both Morrowind & Oblivion. Oblivion had really good points but the levelling was too present. You had to be carefull how & when to level. On pc, luckily there were mods especially to alter the leveling process or the items. But the quests were more alive, well written. How to join the thieve guild or the Dark Brotherhood was great.

Cannot bear this thread anymore too little criticism for my taste. Last truly great TES was Morrowind (IMO it was last great game from Bethesda studios for PC) i will definitely check out skyrim but i simply cannot see it as anything more then glorified oblivion with, new textures, tons of bugs, bullshit PC interface (for consoles the interface is ok), bit above average story and dragons. Lets just hope that it exceeds my expectations by far because, then it will be great game. Till i see it with my own eyes it stays on the "not worth paying a full price for" list.

Why so much hate on Oblivion and Bethesdas recent games?

I liked Oblivion, but it is not one of my favorites.

Nah, I said I "could" get in double trouble with a beta invite and Skyrim, perhaps in the same weekend.

I'm not in Beta, because as we all know for hours of market research that I made up for this post, Bioware hates Scottish people.

Skyrim was as a matter of fact a major factor in my final success as a polyphasic sleeper (I should write that summary. I reallly should!)

I figured I'd need more time. And being able to play Skyrim for 6 hours more a day is just going to be awesome.

And of course, when the time comes, SW:TOR. I'll be lagging behind because I can't play till the 2nd or 3rd of January. But I'll catch up, I will!

I don't get the hate on Skyrim at all. I admit that my first TES game was Oblivion, and I loved it. Skyrim looks way better in every single way that I can imagine.

And don't talk to me of Morrowind. I was excited to play it, because I'd heard it was supposed to be even better than Oblivion, but I was most disappointed; it was decent, but really couldn't hold a candle to Oblivion IMO. And when you start looking at the available mods for the two games, there just is no contest. My theory is that as with all other games and their sequels, nostalgia is talking when people reminisce about Morrowind. Silence, meatbags!

And of course, if anybody mentions playing this on something else than PC, I will batter them with a truncheon until they realize the buttrape they are unleashing upon themselves, comparative to the value they'd get from the PC version.

Its not really a hate its just mistrust i havent said that Skyrim is or will be bad just that it will be full of bugs (every TES game was so far i cannot see that changing now (o:). Morrowind had a story about human gods and disappearance of entire race i will take that over Oblivions white supremacy tale anytime. Skyrim story seems to be interesting so far but if they think that putting dragons in is enought then ill pass. As why for all recent bethesda games (Yes even f*****g Rage) i am tired of pc crowd being treated as second class citizens all i want is keyboard and mouse friendly interface not joypad friendly console ports.

Yes this is what made every TES shine: The community the unofficial patches and mods. And i salute bethesda for sharing editing tools with us. But IMO Bethesda doesnt deserve to have my preorder for skyrim because they put out game i need a year for community to work on so that i am able to fully enjoy it. So yes i will get skyrim eventually, will even pay for it but not full price i will wait it its 66% off on steam. I just dont get it why most people see skyrim as second coming of jesus all that hype, which reminds me of this.

My PC or Laptop just would not do the game justice. I need to play it on the PS3 to get the better graphics. Please don't hurt me!
