Seem like we might be getting some new content, possibly in the form of a world event (like the rakghouls on Tatooine) soon, very soon. It's been confirmed something will coming during august anyway.

Just read that the content has indeed gone live today and you can find breadcrumb quest on the fleet. Apparently they already had everything in game and triggered it on a time, no need for a patch to activate it.

Haven't checked it out myself yet.

Ok, here is an update.

The main quest of the event seem to be an item hunt. They give you a list of a bunch of items to find with no more directions to go on than that they all can be found in Nar Shaddaa or Coruscant. What a joyful grind that seems to be (that they put it on the must dull and ugly planets in the game isnt helping).

Darthhater is doing an event guide, I might bother with the item gathering when their guide has the items listed but till then I'v already had enough of aimlessly driving around Nar Shaddaa.

There is also at least two sidequests, one which you get in the mail when you get the first quest on Nar Shaddaa and one which isnt available yet, presumably they'll do like last time and add a new one each day.

There are some fun stuff at the event vendor like a sandpeople outfit and some bowcaster blasters.

EDIT: Doing the sidequests seem to give you quests that help you locate some of the items for the main item hunt.

I disagree. The most boring and horrible planet is Hoth.

Guess we'll have to agree to disagree then. Hoth might not be all to fun, but at least it's fairly OK to look at

Also, seems I, Bargash and Zenosis found the wrong item first, we found the grindiest of the all that you are supposed to do while you are doing the rest (and of course there were very few crates for it in the over populated first instance). The quests for the other items were rather ok actually.

The Darthhater guide is shaping up pretty well. All they are missing are the three items on coruscant and the three you'll get trough three quests that you get trough your mail after having done the first mail quest, they're not available quite yet though and tell you to check back later.

Find it a bit odd that the only weapons sold by the event vendor are rifles and sniper rifles (all looking like bowcasters) nothing for pistol, cannon and lightsaber users. The armour is adaptable like social armour though.

OK, the three on on Coruscant are as follows:
Writings of Tiethiagg - Silent Sun Cantina in Black Sun Territory (solve the rather simple puzzle).
Shard of Harterra - Justicar Teritory (Find a box and a turret, click box, get on turret and defend for a while and then use box again)
Preserved Colocoid Queen Egg - Old Galactic Market.

So, today they have unlocked one of the quests that you get trough the mail, the one called "A Lead", unfortunately when you finish it the quest "Another Lead" also disappears from your quest log. Hopefully it'll be possible to go to the place for that quest and do it anyway, if not we have a bit of an event breaking bug...
