Wait, no Orange Range?! No Gackt? No High And Mighty Colour?!? Shame on you, hehe...
I have those as well, I just posted some of the things in my current playlist.

Allright, nice to see some preferences of people ;)

And I've got a quick Q for those of you who have got some more J-Pop music. Any recommendations? I kinda like it too, but I have very little to go on (except the songs you hear in most animes credits or begin titles) :)
Thanks ;)

I'm not very good at giving out recommendations. :)
Although when I first started searching for new J-pop music I used http://www.last.fm/ as I too got into it from anime and from very strange japanese films that were in rental stores when I was young. (Well, I still am young but anyway :D)
Just enter in a genre of music or an artist that you like and it will play a radio with various related bands and songs. I started off with Aqua Timez and it grew from there.
Very wonderful website for finding new music I find :)

Also http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fIqKWLkm2-g. This is one of the pieces of music that I love the most. Always makes me happy to hear it even though it is from a emotional part of the game but then again it was the music of my childhood.

Just wondering, am I the only one here who thinks that Rammstein is F****ing awesome?

I agree - but they have built on better bands before them

Like what?

However I readily admit theoretical chance that there is some music of the same genre that can be better, but what I am certain of is that nobody ever delivered music like Rammstein do. By "delivered" I mean their music clips and concerts, they are absolutely insane.

what you basically said is that music that Rammstein plays evolved from hard rock which is true. But one genre can not be better than another or vice-versa, you might give preferences to some, but that's subjective. That's like saying that one country's culture is richer than another's.

Rammstein are a super band, but their live shows are all about amazing costumes, pyrotechnics and other lights and smoke displays..

Do you really think they came up with those ideas on their own? They might have combined the ideas of others into a new mix, and took it up a notch, but they are original in any way.

I love them, but they stand on the shoulders of giants.

For spectacular shows - Ziggy Stardust, Pink Floyd, Queen, Iron Maiden.

I like Ram they are on my list - but they are not the all time best.
