Amplifiers - "Tweaking for more at the endgear level"

Amplifiers were introduced with 6.0 and they are some of the most cred intensive modification as well as hard RNG.

They are also the things that are giving more boosts in addition to the high end mods.

Or quite some bonus for crafting or missions.

In fact you can "make" your personal set using these for crafting, PvP, PvE etc.

As even mods or Augs in gold can carry these amplifiers and any bonus from them comes on top of bolster for now they can have a fairly crazy effect on game balance.

Mind that each little bonus is from ONE amplifier only.

So seeing the list on gold you can have like 2.0% more damage, 2.5% higher armor penetration or 1% percent more damage or heals.

Adding this up for 7 (!) body slots this means a max boost given like 14% more damage or 17% more armor penetration or 7% more damage/heal.

Or any combination of certain boosts.

If you go for maxed stats.

This is harshly felt in PvP (where it destroys any semblance of balance) but for sure is a nice bonus for hardcore Master FP and/or Veteran/Nightmare OPS players.

But it is not that easy to get.

In fact it is a massive cred drain with a total RNG factor.

Want something specifically?

Good luck as the RNG means the massive list of amplifier skills is ALL rerolled on a try for better stats.

With again lowered percentage chance to hit blue, purple, gold respectively.

Favoring older "rich" players over new as they normally have higher money funds.

Given 306 gear can be grinded fast if spamming FP the Amplifiers and the Set bonus will be the true min/maxing requiring a no-end grind and reroll at least for amplifiers.
