Star Wars: The Old Republic Explorers Guide

I just found this on Amazon. Is anyone thinking of getting it? It's not a bad little price at amazon. I know all the info will be available on the net in a few weeks, but it might be a nice little book to have around.

I'm going to add it to my xmas list.

I still have my copy of the brady games wow companion. After the first patch it was all but useless. So I wont be buying another. MMO's can change so much in a very short space of time that I find investing in these books to be wasteful now.

hmm, within 3 weeks most everything in that book will be online for free. Still, it's a nice option.

So do I!

And yes, it just isn't worth it. Find a decent site, of which there'll be many, and just use that instead. You will find more update info, although maybe not quite as well written... Hehe

Yeah, but it would be great for on the loo. My laptop starts to hurt my knees after a while.

For some things it was handy. Like the profession levels for some items haven't changed, and it was great for me to see what I could do at my next stage of engineering.

But for the speed of wowwiki and the up to date info, nothing can beat it. I'm sure there will be a tor equivalent that suits.

I suggest the morning paper for the loo.
