I spoke to Jen'doon earlier today (and Kiel a few days ago) about coming to your forum and making an official thread.
The purpose of this official (possibly officious!) thread is simply to say hello
I hope you're all doing really wonderfully! I play a scoundrel and a jedi shadow in PVP, and have had the pleasure to PVP with a number of your fine guild members. I've even had the displeasure of having to play 'against' them in one game of Huttball (in which my butt was thoroughly and repeatedly kicked!). But it just goes to show what champs TKM are in the warzones.
It's always a pleasure to find TKM players online. Very friendly (except when Jen'doon has to lead a PUG and they don't listen!
) and I always enjoy my time with your members. So I thought I'd come along, introduce myself and simply say hello.I'm Alex, a 26-year-old teacher and Masters student from South Africa (hopefully the only one you know!) and hopefully, also a good-natured, polite and positive chap, who will be worthy of your friendship. You may recognise me as the PVPer who is always hugging everyone before the start of a game. Bit strange for a bloke perhaps, but I find excessive cheerfulness and friendliness preferable to allowing myself to get upset (which is very easy to do in PVP sometimes!). And I really do try my absolute utmost best to get along famously with everyone. Makes everything so much cooler
In any event: it's lovely to meet new friends (which I hope we will become!); it's lovely to play with such talented players (and I hope we will do so in the future); it's great to see such dedicated RPers (and hopefully we'll meet IC sometime!) and that was the reason for this thread.
