Patch 1.1 Whats coming on tuesday 17th

Post by Yakusoku »

Thought i would post this here since theres a lot of bug fixes and changes coming.

A few highlights for those that dont want to read the whole thing.

:geek: Anti-aliasing is now available and can be enabled in the preferences menu.

:geek: A new level 50 Flashpoint, Kaon Under Siege, is now available for play in Normal and Hard Modes!

:geek: Level 50 players now participate in their own Warzone bracket and will not be matched with lower-level players.

:geek: Companion abilities that have been disabled by the player no longer toggle back on when the companion is re-summoned. ((Thank god, no more swearing at coroso))

:geek: Corrected an issue that caused the indicator that a companion wants to talk to you to disappear.

:geek: A new line of high-end PvP relics with appropriate PvP stats have been added to PvP vendors.

:geek: Opening the Inventory Panel with the button on the Menu Bar now always correctly displays the reverse engineering button.

:ugeek: Both biochem and cybertech have been nerfed due to an inbalance compared with the other crew skills. :geek:

:geek:Biochem

All Energized, Exotech, and Rakata adrenals and stims now require 400 Biochem for use.
The Exotech Medpac is now named “Exotech Med Unit.” Its overall healing has been reduced and is now in line with similar level medpacs, and it temporarily increases the maximum health of its targets. Use of this item now requires 400 Biochem.
The amount healed by Rakata Medpacs has been reduced. This item now additionally increases maximum health briefly. Use of this item now requires 400 Biochem.

:geek: Cybertech

Wynz-Tek grenades now require 400 Cybertech for use.
Wynz-Tek Grenades have had their damage reduced to bring them more in line with grenades of similar level.
The Wynz-Tek Firestorm grenade’s damage has been reduced to bring it in line with grenades of similar level. It now deals damage every 3 seconds over 12 seconds.

And loads of other bug fixes, changes etc.

Heres the link to first 1.1 update on the test server

And the second with even more things coming.

Just a note that the odd thing may change so will update with the full patch notes once it goes live. But appearntly theres close to 70 changes (Not just bug fixes) been made.

I am happy. Sometimes PvP matches were totally demoralizing, when enemy had at least 4 level 50 players. Corso will be more popular guy in the future. :)

Sennera (sage)
Grao-tak/Grao (gunslinger/vanguard)
Botond (guardian)

Taken from the patch notes:
PvP

- Battlemaster Gear Tokens have been converted into Battlemaster Commendations, which can be used to purchase any Battlemaster gear. This allows players to purchase any piece of gear instead of requiring them to purchase the piece indicated by the token.

- Battlemaster Bags now contain Battlemaster Commendations instead of Battlemaster Gear Tokens. They still also contain Champion Commendations.

Now I am wondering what this exactly means. Does it mean the occasional item thingie you got from the bags get converted so you can buy any type of gear rather then a specific one? If that's the case, it seems like it became a whole lot easier to get top notch pvp gear.

Though somehow I couldn't shake the feeling that this wasn't the case, but rather like you had to save up your commendations now to buy stuff the long way. Guess I am wrong though, but correct me on that is I am not. ;P

Looks like we'll have to wait just another bit longer for the 1.1 update.

Am I alone in thinking it's odd that they ignore weekly maintenance just because they wont apply a patch? It isn't very weekly if it isn't done every week and if the ignore it due to no applying a patch that kind of implies it doesn't have a whole lot to do with maintenance either :p

Just so you all know, the change to battlemaster tokens is a double edged sword.

You will get tokens every time which can be used to buy any battlemaster item, but it's a massive grind, not a luck system. You won't get instant battlemaster items randomly along with tokens, you only get tokens, much like the centurion ones now.

So, a massive grind, but something you know is based on work and not luck.
