So, about that white crystal. Some of you might have heard that it dropped of the Alderaan world-boss. Some might have heard about the hunt for it that has been going on over on the official forum where pictures of it used in game has even been posted.
Well, turns out it actually isnt quite implemented in the game yet, the guy who did get it had done so trough some kind of a complex exploit. Guess we can call of the hunt on that one for now.

Loving one of the reponses on IGN:
"I'd let the bloke keep it, actually. I mean, he did manage to get it despite the fact that it isn't ingame, right? In theological terms, it'd be close to something like outwitting God."

Re: About that white color crystal...
I kind of wonder how that guy managed to get an item that isnt actually in the game.
Well, it's in the game files but it isnt supposed to be given by any quest or dropped anywhere so how can you possibly get it?
Must have been a pretty complex exploit.

Th funny thing is if the exploit is complex enough, then you do not know it is an exploit. You can easily think you discovered something special.
Xoana (shadow)
Mortel (scoundrel)
Sennera (sage)
Grao-tak/Grao (gunslinger/vanguard)
Botond (guardian)
Lirian (commando)
Jázmin (sentinel)

Possible. But they have said it not an easy exploit and that it wasn't something a normal player will stumble on to by accident. Not exactly clear but they can't really be can they.pata wrote:Th funny thing is if the exploit is complex enough, then you do not know it is an exploit. "Right now, it is not possible to legitimately obtain a White Lightsaber Crystal in the game through any gameplay method"
I reckon that there was a complex hack here... he must have been on the beta and found away to access the backend tables that have the item data..
