THIS IS THE SH*T
I may be one of the older people in the guild, but I want everyone to realize that the Beastie Boys had a massive impact on contemporary music. With hits like Fight for your right, they established a cult of personality that is still to be felt until this very day.
Adam Yauch, better known as MCA, passed away earlier today after struggling against cancer.
I post this because I have personal experience with cancer and, realizing this has nothing to do with our beloved guild, I want everyone to know that I regret every life lost to it, no matter personal preference, conviction, religion, orientation or whatever. Life is worth living to the fullest. Enjoy every moment of it, online or offline.
Most of all, keep it tight!
