Friend referral code, question and offer

Hi all,

I'm thinking about subscribing to the game for a month (for now), to get the preferred status advantages.

Does anyone of you know about the friend referral system? Does the referral link only work at account creation or can I use it with my existing account? If I can still use it, would anyone be interested that I use your link? Then please send me one in a PM. I'll use the first one I receive

It doesn't work. It tells me the account isn't eligible for the friends program. But not sure if this means your or my account? Do you have an active sub at the moment?

Damn it. I'm thinking about restarting, then. Would be a waste to throw away these unlocks etc. And as I'm only lvl 18, I haven't really lost that much time...
