If we do come up with a general missions statement, I'd prefer it didn't sound like a bad 80's movie trailer.

why do even need it, how about a general goal being finding out more about the empire and weakening it whenever possible?

Well I am pretty sure we have a one (of a sort) on the front page currently. But as I said on the official thread I'm not giving us a definite mission statement as such. As you know we're waiting to see what happens with the game and how it plays out for us as a group.

Agreed, always more fun to let the way stuff plays out in-game shape our story! I wasn't suggesting a mission statement meself.. ^^ i was just playing along. I tend to have occasional belches of random and meaningless creativity like that.. ^^

That's fine Thrakos, infact more than fine. It's going to help us in the long run with working out where we're headed. Plus I like random creative belching. it's good.

Re: A little game - Who are TKM?
The "minority" in the guild name is intriguing, more so that I haven't found much about this on these forums yet (or have I missed some crucial posts?).
To me, it suggests an underdog position due to the group being relatively small, and I don't mean as a game guild, but as a Galactic Republic organization. This could be the organization's greatest asset, allowing it to operate on a low profile. It can get them assignments, access to clandestine places or items by not attracting unwanted attention (providing some overconfident Trooper or Scoundrel doesn't mess up).
As such, it could be more of an underground allegiance whose members still can be part of other official organizations like the Jedi Order and the army of the Republic, and keep their ranks within those organizations. It can also be a gathering point which allows for exchange of information, secrets, military intelligence and so on.
Smugglers are right at home in this sort of thing, but members of the Jedi Order, for instance, could get things done that wouldn't necessarily be approved, even if only officially, by the Order.
Also, a minority is easy to underestimate. It could be overlooked or ignored as a threat, only to give it more opportunity for surprise.
This is in good roleplaying tradition which has been seen often in all kinds of games. Might be a tad cliché, but it always appealed to me.
