**spoiler alert: thalmor party, if your not up to this bit read at own will**
Hi guys, so far I'm up to the part of the main story where you have to infiltrate the Thalmor ambassadors office to see if they have anything to do with dragons. When giving the high-elf the stuff I would need to get in, which was a robe and a steel dagger, I didn't know at all that the woman who sent me (I forget all the names) would already have party clothes for me, also not knowing that when I got to the party and got through to sneaking around I would encounter fully armoured, spell casting, sword wielding, Thalmor guards.. Me being me I delete all my saves (I'm on xbox and I don't like things taking up memory. So now I'm going to have to find a way to sneak around 3 fully armoured... I won't go into that again, but yes, you get the point.
Anyone got any tips/ideas/help? My sneaking is woeful and I only have a steel dagger, no armour, the repelling force shout, and flames lol.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Use the force Luke.
Man, last night I went into an underground cavern. GUess what I found? 4 massive (like 40 minutes exploration) caverns within the underground cavern.
It's like Alice in wonderland...how deep does the rabbit hole go?
I'd strongly recommend you darlings look into illusion magic and destruction runes if you are a stealth character. I had the unpleasant job of having to take out 4 Falmer (like goblins but really nasty) on Master difficulty.
I died 4 times before I worked out a super stratedgy.
First I set up my companion to stand way back. Then I stealthed forward, slapped down a fire ward trap on the floor, then I conjured a fire atronach...then used a fireball spell on the group and sprinted back to my companion (we both use bows) and we let rip.
He still got KO'd and I had to run around kiting..but by jove we got em!
and ps, for all you thieves out there....
If a person has a bucket over their head...they can't see you stealth their life savings...
/wink

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Are you still stuck on this one Xylae? I really didn't see a way to stealth through this one. If you can take out one of the first guards you come across you can take their weapons and armor. That was actually the first time I found elvish armor, pretty nice. Hope that helps without giving away too much...Xylae wrote:**spoiler alert: thalmor party, if your not up to this bit read at own will**

Are you stuck on him Halvy? I fought him from the hallway leading up to the big chamber (with the gate)... Kept me out of melee range.Halvy wrote:Has anyone fought this guy yet??? Video contains possible spoiler if you haven't heard/seen this guy already.

Yea I can't believe how huge this game is! The cities are awesome, I still don't think I've seen them all.JenDoon wrote:Use the force Luke.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I just got the final word of the "unrelenting force" shout.
Wow...talk about master force push!
Pretty fun to use it in a tavern then vanish under an invisibility spell.
