iPod touch kids games/apps help

I know your all real busy doing other things (like playing SWTOR) but I could do with a little help.

We have bought our nine year old daughter an iPod touch for Christmas. I'd like to get it set up for Christmas day morning, but I have no idea what apps or games would be good for a nine year old girl. Music I'm fine with, but not the other stuff.

Can anyone recommend anything? I can see lots of free app/games, but have no idea if they are any good.

Has good list that looks OK. As a father of 4 and a grandfather of two I can understand your problem lol.

Things like angry birds and any of the bejewled or marble based games would be good too .


TBH Apple are really good at *parenting* apps. They access each one and while theres lots of tripe there ,there isnt usually any app with hidden pr0n etc. If its there ,like a topless pic in a card game, then it says so.
