Re: Bump for your future
I'm thinking what could we do with the adversary guild, in terms of role playing and such, except from chopping them up of course.
If I remember correctly there will be some quests that players of both factions can take at the same time.
Also, does anybody know if there is orctish/common WOW equivalent languages where the opposing factions can not understand one another?

I assume Bio will go this way, as it seems to be an unspoken rule that opposing factions shouldn't be able to communicate as it would compromise PvP fairness or somesuch.MachineSp1rit wrote:Also, does anybody know if there is orctish/common WOW equivalent languages where the opposing factions can not understand one another?
I do hope Republic and Empire will be able to speak Galactic Basic (or whatever language) with each other as it would definitely benifit RP.

They must, it's just not very Star Wars to bar Jedi and Sith having dramatic battle conversations with a language barrier Also, the Imperial Agent is confirmed to change accents from British to American English when undercover so to me it seems contradictory to not have Galactic Basic as a common language.Slide wrote:I do hope Republic and Empire will be able to speak Galactic Basic (or whatever language) with each other as it would definitely benifit RP.
Perhaps the fairness issue is mainly a problem in warzones so maybe /say and /yell are disabled and in open world pvp it's not?

The Kestrel Minority is a close-knit community without the aim of operating on a large scale.
Rather, we're having a good time among friends, seeking to enjoy all aspects of SW:TOR.
At this moment, our main interests lean towards socializing, exploration and roleplaying, but we intend to dig into everything, of course.
In the story, TKM isn't a large organization but a low-profile gathering of individuals seeking to achieve aims for the Republic by operating under the radar, bypassing protocol and regulations if necessary. Where an official body has to stop for political reasons, TKM gets things done.
Troopers out of eradicated squads, Jedi in dispute with certain Order members, and not-so-legitimate businessmen with the most decent of intentions (obviously) sometimes find their way into TKM.
If this sounds like the guild for you, or you seek to ally yourself with us, do visit our site!
Not too shabby...

Re: Bump for your future
It's never too early to bump our future.
We have, 25 members, 4 of whom have never posted so we're sitting pretty at 21. I'd say about 6 of those peeps log on every other week which leave us with 15 people who seem really interested and active.
This is more than enough to start a good guild, especially if the post count of some of us shows how keen and dedicated we are to TKM.
Still, it's always nice to have new peeps and even nicer to see our thread on the first page.
Go on, bump it baby! I'll bump it every time someone else does, but I can't be seen to repeat post or we'll get our hands slapped.

Something for the Officers: Just thought it might be good idea to get listed on things like THE GUILDED CANTINA on SWTOR forums http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=337118 (I think we definitely fall into the category of guilds listed there).
