Patch 5.0 - Galactic Command - Massive Changes as for Gearing+PvE/PvP

Good day!

The Streams are done and the discussion is heated.

The upcoming expansion will make some massive changes.

But let's first begin with the summary of the KOTET/Galactic Command Stream by Dulfy:

Resulting from the change gearing will be massively revamped:

Commendations will be discontinued. Expertise will be cut from the game. Gear will no longer drop from bosses.

But:

Players will be able to craft comparable item level gear without set bonuses.

F2P Players will NOT be able to participate in the new "Galactic Command"-System and can now only gear through purchasing crafted/sold gear from the GTN and drops from in-game.

Last off the earning of those Command points will be INDIVIDUALLY.

So no connection to the legacy.

Which leaves the questions about twinkers gearing up.

Though probably crafting will get a boost from these changes.

As twinkers would not rush through content nor would they have the time to get massive command points for gearing.

All in all quite a bag of change.

Seems SWTOR stands on before another massive revamp.

Especially the exent of the changes to PvP will be substantial and we will see how that goes.

But this old axiom holds truth:

We shall see, thanks for posting. So far I got used to changes , no spec PvP gear can be an advantage for those starting PvP lat, and wit the fast leveling we have lately. taking away all comms, I hoe the comm vendors not the gear ones staying in some way, with giving items like that credit value, they could make a credit leak in game what would be needed. We shall see how this will affect game when it comes live. I have to make sure to spend all my comms on gifts tho before I lose them
