Hello Kestrels,
News and rumours about Bioware's predicament and the state of their gaming developments are swirling hot and wild.
After the desastrous Mass Effect: Andromeda crash now the very much promoted Anthem comes to the focus as Bioware struggles to perserve and prosper with their studio.
But what will it mean for SWTOR?
Kotako does fuel some dire predictions with one sentence:
"BioWare has also discussed ending development on the multiplayer online game Star Wars: The Old Republic, those sources said, although one person familiar with the studio told me recently that plans are still up in the air."
The omnious silence about a 2018 road map certainly fuels this thought.
Also the forums are aflame with players asking for a statement or simply discussing it wanting a committed statement from the SWTOR Devs.
Indeed 2018 seems to be a year for a Bioware under pressure.
What it means for the game we care for remains to be seen...
Greetings
Corv

Re: Kotaku fueling rumors of SWTOR's end
I've seen this going around over various forums now. I'd hate to see the game going to a maintenance mode without any knowledge of a successor, which can obviously now be made because of the new hype surrounding the movies. Still, I'd miss this game and this era and I keep hoping they can still somehow improve the state of the game with new updates.
